El Camino College is hosting a presentation for seniors to show them how to register for classes through MyECC.  Sign up while there is still space!  Presentations will be on April 23rd-12:00-1:00pm and April 27th-10:00am-11:00am. Sign up for the presentations in the counseling office.
 
This summer, the UCLA Center for World Languages will offer special language classes for high school students who speak, understand and/or hear Armenian, Korean, Persian or Russian at home and want to learn to read/write and expand their listening and speaking skills. WHERE IS MR.E?!  If you have college or career questions, you can find Mr. Elizondo before school, at snack, at lunch, and after school in A134, right next to the ASB room, near the cafeteria.  During class time, Mr. E will be in the counseling office and you can make appointments with him just like you would with your counselor.                                                                                                                                           Elizondo
 
If you are interested in a STEM major (science, technology, engineering, and math), El Camino is hosting a summer program.  The program is called START and is FREE if you are accepted into the program.  Applications are due May 25th, but you will need to complete a number a steps before you can apply, so see Mr. E today for information!                                                                                                                        Elizondo
 
Torrance High School Centennial Celebration Logo Contest: Would you like to see your artwork featured during the THS Centennial Celebration? There will be a $100 prize. Deadline for logo entries is 4/24/15. Flyers available in Principal’s Office, Activities and Library. The logo will be announced at THS Achievement Awards. Theme is: Honor. Celebrate. Dream. Honor the Past, Celebrate the Present, Dream of the Future.
