 Welcome to the Torrance High website,  a 2011 California Distinguished School 

Welcome to the 2014-15 school year at
Torrance High School 

Registration Packets will be available for pick up
Tuesday, July 22nd and Wednesday, July 23rd
from 8:00 a.m. – 12 pm and 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm.
 
Packets will be distributed from the Principal’s Office in the administration building.
 
Please bring the blue postcard (mailed home the 1st week of July), with mailing label attached, in order to receive your packet. If you misplace the postcard, you must provide current proof of residence: electric, gas, water/trash, cable bills. If you or your student are not able to come on the above dates, you may send this postcard with someone else to pick up the packet.
 
Registration paperwork, dates & important information you should be aware of are included in the packet. NEW THIS YEAR – Parents will be updating emergency information for students on ParentConnect instead of filling out the “green emergency card.” Directions on how to do this will be in the packet (lavender paper).

CONGRATULATIONS to Torrance High School for finishing 177th in the state in the Washington Post High School Challenge Index. This index ranks schools on how effectively they prepare their students for college, and THS ranked ahead of all the other Torrance high schools!!!
