PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY:
On Wednesday, March 27th Torrance High, in conjunction with Torrance Chamber of Commerce, hosted a member of the business community for Principal for a Day. Natalia Soukhatchevskaia, Director of Operations for Alcoa Fastening Systems in Torrance, was our business partner. Ms. Soukhatchevskaia toured the campus and classrooms with Principal Girgis. She also met and interacted with students and teacher Dana Hagen from the Principles of Engineering class. She was a part of a Leadership class meeting with ASB students and advisor Lori Spradlin. Torrance Citi Cable was on hand to record some of the activities. The day culminated with a lunch with all Torrance school principals and business partners at ITT Technical Institute.
